Guest Posting

When you share notes on our website, we require you to enter your name and email address.

Additionally, on personal request, we may register a user on our website to streamline his posting on the website. Personal details on the registration form will be collected.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

NaijaNotes do not target users  who are under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without such parent or guardian’s consent, he or she should contact us. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.

Who we share your data with

NaijaNotes  shares your personal information with our partners and third party service providers, authorised users by you and any other person, governmental and non-governmental organisations, in case of legal process.

Sharing with our partners

NaijaNotes may share your personal information with certain third-party affiliates, including marketing and advertising associates, that information includes your name, email address and other information enabling partners to:

Further, our partners are forbidden from using your  information for any purpose other than those set forth above without your consent. We will not provide our partners with your payment information.

Sharing with Third Party Provider of Products and Services.

Infrequently, NaijaNotes may enter into agreement with carefully selected third parties and use certain third party plugins in developing this website, so that they can assist us in serving you better (for example, helping us to with fraud detection, spam detection, customers service etc.) and /or to assist us in our own marketing and advertising activities.
