Third anniversary: Ondo declares public holiday to honour Buhari

The Ondo state government has declared Tuesday 25th February 2020 as a work-free day to honor President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is to enable public servants in the state to welcome President Buhari, who is scheduled to visit the state on that date.

In a release from the office of the Head of Service of the state, signed by Aderemi Omole, it was noted that President Muhammadu Buhari would be visiting the state as part of activities marking the third year of the administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) in office.

The release also noted that during the visit, the President would be commissioning “some landmark projects put in place by the government.”

“…the Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has declared Tuesday 25th February 202 as work-free day for public servants to enable them welcome Mr. President to the state.”

The statement enjoined all accounting officers to give the content of the circular wide dissemination.

They were also to “mobilize their respective staff to participate in the programme of the anniversary as may be applicable.
