The Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has said that past conferences reports on restructuring of Nigeria have been eaten up by termites on the shelves.
The senator made the remarks on his verified Twitter handle @ShehuSani, while reacting to the decision of Katsina State to pass a death sentence on kidnapping and cattle rustling as well as the plan of the Federal government to establish a radio station solely run in Fulani language to preach peace and unity to Fulani Herdsmen.
Shehu Sani said that the passing of death sentence or the acquisition of radio station dedicated to Fulanis was not the solution to Nigeria’s problems.
According to Shehu Sani, restructuring is the answer. The restructuring he said should be based on past conferences reports, “now eaten by termites in our shelves”.
The Senator said:
“We must restructure this nation politically and economically in line with recommendations of past conferences reports, now eaten by termites in our shelves”.
