Kindly share this:

The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the February 2019 general elections, Omoyele Sowore,  has reacted to Senator Shehu Sani’s comment on the intention of the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin  Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, to legalize the cultivation of Cannabis for commercial purposes.

The governor had through his Twitter handle announced the intention of his Government to exploit the medicinal benefits in marijuana to make more money for the government.

The announcement, instantly attracted divergent views from members of the public and one of such was the Senator representing Kaduna Central in the Nigerian Senate.

The outspoken senator who commands a huge followership on Twitter had cautioned the Ondo State governor to jettison the idea and advised him to go into partnership with some states in the north for agricultural purposes.

Reacting, to the tweet through his Twitter handle @YeleSowore, the SaharaReporters publisher, who was the first to moot the idea of medicinal marijuana during his campaign, told Senator Shehu Sani that his Afro Hairstyle could benefit from the cultivation of marijuana.

Shehu Sanni was quick to answer, saying that his hair doesn’t need marijuana to glow. Expectedly, this drew a lot of reactions from the followers of the two personalities on Twitter.
