The United States of America has revealed that it has imposed visa restrictions on those believed to have undermined the 2019 general elections in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by Morgan Ortagus, the official spokesperson of the US State Department.
The message further said that United States was willing to work with President Muhammadu Buhari to deepen Nigeria’s democracy and improve human rights situation in the country.
It will be recalled that in February 2019, Nigeria conducted the general elections that ushered in the present democratic dispensation in the country.
