Aisha Buhari, the wife of the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, has told Nigerians that she was well and back from her medical trip abroad.
It will be recalled that Aisha was recently flown out for medical treatment in the United Arab Emirates.
While writing on her verified Twitter handle, Aisha Buhari, thanked Nigerians for their prayers and enthused that she was well, fully recovered and now back in Nigeria.
Mrs. Buhari also called for improvement in the Nigerian healthcare sector.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for their prayers and well wishes while I was away for medical treatment . I am well now and fully recovered and have since returned back home, Nigeria.”

Aisha reminded Nigerians that earlier this year, she conveyed a meeting of private healthcare providers in Nigeria on the need to expand the capacity of the Nigerian healthcare sector. According to Mrs. Buhari, funding was a major factor identified at that meeting.
Consequently, the First Lady urged practitioners in the health care sector to take advantage of the NGN100 billion credit support of the Federal Government to the health care sector through the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Mrs. Buhari also thanked Nigerians and frontline health care workers for their steadfastness in navigating the challenges that face the world.
