The Lagos State School of Nursing has been upgraded to a Tertiary Institution. With the upgrade, the School will now join the league of Nursing Colleges that can award national Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates for the advancement of knowledge in the Nursing Profession.
The School will now be referred to as the Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing, to reflect the new status of the school.
It will be recalled that earlier this year, precisely on 8th February 2018, Gov. Ambode assented to the Law for the creation of the Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing Law.
