D’banj, Omotola and forty-one others unveiled as UN 2018 MIPAD honourees

The United Nations has unveiled its 2018 Most Influential People of African Descent Global 100 list with superstar hip-hop artistes. D’banj and screen diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde and Yemi Alade, leading fourty-one other Nigerians, made the list.

The list recognizes positive contributions made by people of African descent worldwide. The unveiling which was done at the UN 73rd General Assembly had Omotola in attendance.

The actress was obviously excited about her inclusion in the list of honorees as she shared photos of the event on her IG page with the caption “Honoured to be one of the Most Influential People of African Descent at the United Nations by @mipad100″…….

Other Nigerians on the list include Davido, Falz don bags guy, Dr Yemi Kale of the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, Dakore Egbuson, Tolu Ogunlesi and others..
