ApiExpoAfrica2018 kicks off in Abuja

The 6th ApiExpoAfrica2018 opens today in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa.  The expo is taking place from today 25th September to Saturday 29th September, 2018 at the International Conference Centre. The expo involves a convergence of Apicultural investors from around the world and it is being hosted by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.

ApiExpoAfrica2018 has been described as the apiculture Africa’s most anticipated event of the year.  The expo is featuring over 5000 Beekeeping delegates and exhibitors from Africa, Europe, USA, Middle East and other parts of the world are attending the event at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The theme of the expo is: “Beekeeping Industry for Sustainable Development, Wealth Creation & Economic Diversification”.

At the opening ceremony today  were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, who represented the President; the Hon. Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh and the Representative of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
